Where is the idler located on 1995 honda accord dx?i want to adjust the idle on my 95 honda because its jerking when i take off from a stop and my idle is low too low.

Sounds like the throttle body may need cleaning. You could also have a vacuum hose leak. Most throttle bodies doesn't have an idle screw.

Engine dies

p0172 could be a few issues, A poor performing O2 sensor can cause a rich condition. Also an injector sticking open can cause a rich condition. I would start with a throttle body cleaning and a top engine clean (I love Sea foam) it has the least side effects, run the injector cleaning ( IT MAY SMOKE OUT THE EXHAUST LARGE CLOUDS) dont be alarmed. This is a good thing. Wait a day or so to clear the codes, because the top engine clean may very well set a code anyways.

1996 Lincoln Mark VIII. 177,000. I turn on my car it cranks so i press on the gas and nothing. The RPMs doesnt even move so the car dies. Im thinking its the fuel pump. Any suggestions?

I would check fuel pressure with a gauge first. If the check engine light is on you should have trouble codes stored in the computer. The throttle position sensor may have failed too.

F3LY-6328608-A does this part # work on a 1996 Mark VIII

If you are referring the spring for the fuel door it should work, although it is off a Mark VII and not a Mark VIII. From the information I found they are supposed to be the same length.

Where is the throttle body on a 96 maxima... and what do I need to access. My car sometime cutt-off while idling and sometime cuts out while driving like its getting no gas. I already changed my fuel...

The throttle body is where the carburetor used to be, in the middle top of the intake manifold where the air intake tube ends.
Use a major brand "Fuel throttle body cleaner" in your gas tank every 6 months or so. Don't use store brand. Ther eis also a spray for the linkage, etc. Use that too... and spray into the throttle body with engine running. Don't let the engine die while spraying into the throttle body.

My 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII will not start. It

Check your power to your fuel pump. Put your ear to the filler for the gas and get someone to turn on the key, do not crank.. You should here the fuel pump cut on. If not suspect pump problem. You can also take the lin loose at the fuel filter and check to see if gas comes out after key is turned on and work your way to the engine if you get gas there just follow the lines.

Civic 95 lx 1.5 engine dies when iddling

Check the IACV, its located at the throttle body, facing the firewall. They get junked up with carbon. Just clean it up with carb cleaner and bleed out the air from the coolant.

Idle

You need to change out the IAC valve and also the TPS sensor. The IAC is right beside the throttle body and is held in with 2 bolts. The Throttle position sensor is right on the back side of the throttle body and plugs in from the underside. Four 8mm bolts hold the throttle body down and will need to be removed to change both parts. Make sure to get a new TB gasket. This will fix your idle problem 100%.
