most likelly your wheel cilinders are leaking you need to pull the drums and you will see it right away, but if not go to autozone.com and you can buy the repair information for that specific car, just look for alldata.

You must replace the sending unit in the gas tank to correct this problem, or do you already know this?

SOURCE: Location of 1993 Chevy Lumina temperature gauge

If you follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the enigine you will see a wire connecting to a screw in like plug. This screw in a the temperature sending unit. Disconnect the wire that is going to it and you should be able to unscrew the plug with a socket and ratchet. Be careful to do this when the engine is cold or you run a high risk of coolant spewing out and burning you. You sill lose some coolant even when it is cold but you shouldnt lose enough to have a problem with the coolant level. After you change it run the car and check the resevoir to make sure you didnot lose to much.

The temperature gauge sending unit is located in the front section of the intake manifold, just to the right of the alternator on the 4.6L engines. Got this from autozones repair manuals

Tempature gauge does not work and the

In 1992 the sending unit should be fairly easy to find it should on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing. If you disconnect the wire going to the sender, it should be just one wire and it just pushes on the sender. Once you have it disconnected take a small jumper wire and connect the temperature gauge wire to ground (or the negative terminal of the battery). Now turn the key on, the gauge should go all the way to hot, if so the sender is bad. If the gauge doesn't move you have dash problems. Good Luck!

Replaced cooling temperature cooling sensor on my 2005 Honda Civic 1.7 and the temperature gauge still is not working properly. Can you help me ?

There will also be a temperature sending unit which provides the info to the temperature gauge. Track it down and replace it as well and you'll probably have a lot more success.

Hope this helps,

How do you replace a bulb(s) in the gauge cluster in a 92 Chevy Beretta 2.2L???

remove plastic cover underneath steering column then take off the two bolts on a u-shaped clamp that holds the steering column up and let if fall easily to the seat now you should have a lot more room to get you hand back in there.
