I guess the cruise control buttons are located on the steering wheel...

You have a bad clockspring (contact reel in the steering wheel), all the mentioned items (wheel mounted cruise buttons, horn buttons, airbag) are run through it.

Where the wheel is able to turn a couple of turns on either side, normal wires could not be setup to withstand this. The clockspring (contact reel) is a flat wire wound up to be able to withstand the rotation.

They are not an item I would recommend replacing by yourself, where airbag systems have a procedure which must be followed to make sure you don't accidentally deploy the bag and cause serious injury.

My 1998 plymouth grand voyager horn and cruise control do not work.whats the problem..

There was a recall due to the clockspring being wound incorrectly. If the repair was not made, this could cause the horn and cruise control to quit functioning and the air bag light to stay on.

The cruise control is not working on our 1997 plymouth voyager, however the horn works and the air bag light turns off properly so I'm not sure if it would have the spring problem some of the other...

could be the plasic pipe has broken that supplies vacuum to the servo momted at top rear of engine on left[drivers]side. or a fuse has popped check ALL of them because some fuses feed other fuses and are not labeled as such on the fuse panels

Horn doesn't work where is the location of horn

The horn is actually located in front of the vehicle behind the grill, but what makes it sound is a special part located at the steering wheel behind the air bag assembly called the clockspring assembly and if this part is broken the horn and cruise control will not work, also the airbag light will be on all the time. You will need a puller to pull the steering wheel out but be carefull to disconect the airbag to preventing it from inflating accidentally.I am assuming the corresponding fuse is working.Good luck

Check fuses under dash on drivers side, & fuse & relay box under hood on drivers side. I.D. for fuses & relays under hood on underside of cover.

1998 Grand Voyager horn not working, check fuse ok, relay never check.

You can check the clock spring. Remove the cover over the stealing wheel where the emergency flasher is. At the bottom there are two connector side by side. the small one on the left is for the Air Bag, the one on the right (6-7 pin connector) is for the horn and cruise control if you have one. Disconnect the right connector. Us a wire to gound out the pin in the lelft side of the 6-7 pin connector. If the horn sounds, then it is either the clock spring or the air bad itself that needs to be replaced. I would bet it is the clock spring.
