the code was supplied typed on a small bussiness card,if you cannot find this, you will have to get the radio recoded at a specialists, who will ask you to prove you are the owner of said car(how do we know you aint stole it)the other alternative is the daewoo dealer network, who again will ask for proof and charge you for the code.DO NOT RATE THIS ANSWER,AS IT IS A STANDARD REPLY TO ALL RADIO CODE QUESTIONS.
Remove the radio and obtain the radio serial number. send this number and your VIN number to daewoousa.com, and they will send back the 4 digit security code.
if u have a manual for car look for a hand written number inside cover or at radio section sales man usually tell owners to write it down if not than need to notify dealer they are only ones who have code
Take it to your certified dealer and they should get it going for you and let you know the code if it happens in the future and show you how to unlock it.
The radio code should be on a sticker under the ash tray. Slip out the ash tray & look on the bottom of it. You MUST enter the correct code within 10 seconds of turning on the radio or it will lock you out.
Hi, dont know where you are but i had a similar radio problem after changing battery......... contact your local daewoo dealer ( mine is Dutton Forshaw, Maidstone, Kent. They may be able to help) tell them the problem, they will ask for the chassis no. and the reg no., they will then give you the code that is factory set for the radio that was originally in the car from new. Cutting off could be any number of faults, find a local mobile diagnostic mechanic and ask for a tune up and explain the cut out fault. Sorry i cant help more. steve
