My battery light on my dash will blink or flash as if it's trying to light up but there just isn't enough juice (like a dieing lightbulb) but it will go out after about 5-10 min. of driving, but sometimes it will come back on later down the road and blink. I checked my manual and it told me to check my alternator belt. The belt is fine, tight and doesn't "wiggle" or shake when idling. I've checked my battery terminals to make sure they are tight and I've checked my alternator plug to make sure it's secure. Everything is a CHECK. So, any suggestions why my car is telling me my generator isn't working? My car was recently in an accident...could this be due to faulty wiring?
