2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT. How do I put a KEY immobilizer back into my key case?

Question edited got clarity and remove 'hood speak'.
Question moved to model category.

The alarm system and engine immobilizer needs reprogramming. You need an auto locksmith or an auto electrician, or the dealership

Taking out starter moter for a 1995 gt subaru legacy

hi you need to remove the top mount intercooler then the starter motor will be easier to get to, its held on by two nuts and the wires that are connected to it. its located on the passenger side of the motor at the back and can be tricky sometimes

I have a knocking in my 99 subaru Legacy L it has a 2.2 and all new parts in the timing chain area, what could it be? When purchased put all new parts, sprockets, pulley and tentioners and belt on new. It...

I think I would pull the timing covers back off and see if one of the pulleys etc. is loose. Did you put the proper tension on the timing belt? It is also easy to put that belt on one tooth off, the motor will still run and can produce the knocking noise, take care and good luck. ps I assume the oil level is good in the motor.

1995 subaru legacy L wagon. drivers side master power window switch stopped working. others work fine. how do I track down the exact problem. it's not a fuse.

You just did. Its the master switch. Buy a switch from a large parts store, use a flat tip screwdriver to remove switch then install new switch. This should take you about 20 mins. Super Easy

1995 subaru legacy with new starter and solenoid, every week or two solenoid will click but starter won't engage.I can jump from solenoid to starter and start it.

A solenoid needs so much power to kick in.  I think your battery is getting old and not at full capacity.  Hove it check and replace if needed.
