Description:
Turbocharger (TC) Boost Control Solenoid/Supercharger (SC) Boost Control Solenoid - Circuit Low
Causes:
- Wiring short to earth.
- Turbocharger (TC) boost control solenoid/Supercharger (SC) boost control solenoid.

I suspect a bad light socket. Sound like the ground contact is poor.

you need a chilton or GM repair manual.read through the turbocharger removal procedure.removing turbo with out repair manual is hard because you have to remove many things to remove turbocharger.

There is no belt that runs the Turbocharger. A Turbocharger uses the engines exhaust to spin a wheel that is attached to a compressor wheel.

Mazda released a TSB (technical service bulletin) about this problem. Click to view Mazda TSB 01-004/10.

They recommend replacing the engine oil with 5W-40 synthetic oil. If that doesn't resolve it then they recommed replacing the turbocharger.

You should check with your dealer, this repair may be covered by warranty.

Check immediately the turbocharger! DO NOT START THE ENGINE WITH THIS KIND OF PROBLEM!
Remove the air inlet axial center hose of the turbocharger, in other words the compressor air inlet hose. Then check axial & radial gaps of the turbocharger rotor.
Check also the turbocharger oil pressure supply. Check the engine oil level also.
Repair & replace bad pieces.
In the most cases the turbocharger is out of order when engine puffing off blue smoke and losing power.
