Nissan sentra 1993 1.6 l won't start - Nissan Sentra 4 Door - I have a nissan sentra 93 and all of the sudden the car wont start. ... The engine does not crank or anything, The lights on the dash board turns on, by turnning the key to on Parts that I've replaced are the following: neutral safety switch,/ Starter(Bad bushings sounds terrible) Relay ignition that goes to the fuse box(Grey in color square). Tried starting it several times...and it worked... but again, same problem..Please help..

Make sure you have the plug wires on the correct plug. Check the ignition timming to make sure it is correct. After running for a few minutes pull the pluggs to see whitch cylinders are running rich. The fuel pressure and volume need to be tested.

Additionally, try checking the power transistor. I will send the test. Also make sure the coil has a good ground...

93 Nissan Sentra will not start

before you do that , if it is an automatic , check your neutral start switch. to answer your question , no you do not have to pull the steering wheel . You will have to pull the upper and lower steering column covers behind the steering wheel to access to the ignition switch assembly.

try placing car in nuetral and then try starting or push shifter forward while starting! this is a common problem for nissan also make sure your foot is on the brake when starting. for someof them this is a safety feature
