On this make and model. For P1345 code. If the cam phase solenoid isn't dirty and sticking. Most likely is the timing chain components causing this code. Biggest nightmare job to do. Half the truck has to come apart to fix. Mine was same year. It had two broken timing chain guide bolts, holding down the drivers side guide shoe. This caused a knocking sound in the timing chain area as well. And, this threw off all of the timing chain components. Causing a correlation issue between the cam sensor and the crank sensor "P1345" Time to get rid of it.

2002 Trailblazer rough idling

First try cleaning the throttle body, make sure you take it off the intake manifold so that the rear side gets cleaned as well. While doing the cleaning, disconnect the battery so that the PCM will reset and relearn to the freshly cleaned throttle body.

New thermostat spark plugs battery and coils got hot wont start water in overflow gurgling and boiling trying to turn over

It could be alot of things. If it starts when its cold and dies or idles rough when it warms up, its usually an ignition madule or a crank/cam shaft sensor. If it does not start at all it could be either one of those, a fuel pump, the ECM, broken timing chain.......ect. in other words I need a little more info in order to diagnose it as good as one can over the internet.

2002 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyclinder engine (112,000 miles to date) choking up at idle (not stalling, yet), smell of surpur at tailpipe exhaust, computer code P1345 for the camshaft and chankshaft sensor...

It sounds like your EGR valve needs to be replaced. You can go to any auto parts store and get one. Try replacing spark plugs and plug wires also. If the timing was off it would pick up speed slowly and would vibrate really bad at idle. When you go to accelerate if it doesn't accelerate normally it may be the timing but i highly dought it. Try plugs and wires first. then the EGR valve.

beleive it or not changing the oil if dirty will solve this code, also found that connector gets oil in it and that also makes p1345 code turn on, open connector and look for oil in it,look at sensor and actuator plugs for oil,the main plug connector is the actuator plug it fills with oil and makes contact between pins setting p1345 code, hope this helps.
