SOURCE: climate contol air condition blows

This sounds like a problem with the one of the temperature door actuator motors. Depending on which side has the problem- Hot on dr. side when you want heat but cool oin pass. side when you want heat. Or vise-versa. These motos are approx. $75 plus 1 1/2 hours labor to install.

SOURCE: driver side blows cold passanger hot

Same problem as mine has. I just found out that it could be the LH Electric actuator, located under the driver side dash, just about straight behind the radio. I got mine in order so i do not knoe if that is the solution yet. just athought for ya.sounds like this should fix it though.

SOURCE: climate control only blows cold air driver side

This sounds like a "dual-zone" issue. Does this car have this feature. If so, probably one of the temperature sensors. Should be located under the glovebox by the passenger leg area.

Lack of power, hesitation, climate control blowing hot air

Always check body grounds. You may have good power to the engine with a good ground still, but your body grounds control power to all else.

04 dodge durango will not blow cold air blows regular air. Why?

Not in a specific order of importance:

A lack of refridgerant.
The compressor not engaging due to low pressure, or another fault.
The cooling fan or fan clutch not operating properly.
The climate control system not functioning.
The switch not working.
A blown fuse or circuit breaker or fusible link.

Good luck !

My a/c is not working properly. It seems like every few months it stops blowing cold air and for about 2 weeks it blows hot air only.

That could be a variety of problems. The first thing you might do is this. When it isn't working, open the hood and see if the clutch on the A/C compressor is cycling. If it engages and disengages while the air conditioning is on, that would indicate that the problem might be ducting or another issue. If the clutch doesn't cycle, one of the first things I would check would be to see if there was power to the clutch when the A/C is turned on. It would be helpful to know what your vehicle is, such as year, model, and if it's equipped with Automatic Climate Control like many Buicks are.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

No hot air on driver side. Pasenger side has hot air.

if it has dual zone climate setting it could be stuck in the cool setting. if it is not blowing any air it could be the duct came loose and it is blowing the air inside the dashboard. it will require you to pull the dash apart to inspect what the exact cause is. it could be anything from a bad temp setting switch in the climate control panel to a bad vac line that that switches the air from hot to cold. any other info you could give me may help such as if it is full electronic climate or manual knobs, dual zone, is it blowing any air or just no hot air.

2005 KA blowing hot air out when set to cold

start car.turn on air conditioner high cool .raise hood look to see if the compressor clutch is engaged and running.if yes your ac air door could be stuck closed or the air door vacuum actutator not receiving vacuum.a vacuum line is broken or off. or the control switch bad.that control the AC and heater mode. if compressor clutch is not engagged.check for power at compressor clutch.if yes compressor clutch coil open. or the air conditioner refrigerant R 134 is low take car to a private garage with a good reputation. they wont be expensive as the dealership.have them hook car air conditioner to a manifold gauge set to check your refrigerant low side and high side pressure.

Blowing hot air all the time

There is a door that opens to the heater core. When the vacum control in the dash gets old the diaphram gets to flimsy to close one port so it puts vacum to all ports. Therefore there is not enough pull to engage the vacum motor to move the trap door.Change the switch in the dash. Check to make sure that there isn't an obstructing object in front of the door before you buy a new switch
