2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. I need to replace the AC compressor. a chunk of the housing blew off while driving. I am looking for some information on how to flush the AC system after a compressor failure, any uncommon tools that may be needed for the AC lines, and the location of the expansion valve or orifice tube. Any tips, walkthroughs, or guidelines for this specific replacement would be nice if available. thanks

When you replace new compressor/you shoud have to flush ACsystemby usingR11 AND needto replase expantion valve .after that you need to vaccuming AC system.also put AC compessor oil and refill 134A gas.

try like this frist you want to found the AC compressor relay by using fornt fuse box cover.after that remove the AC relay.then you start the jeep and turn on AC at that time AC switch not blink king you have to replace AC compressor

Looks like the drain pipe/tube from ur A/C blower housing is blocked and need to be cleaned out!
Look for that rubber tube, pull it out and use any flexible wire to clean out the molds and grimes!

The door and the glass just needs some penetrating lubricant( WD 40 ), just a few squirt will do on hinges and locks!
The drainage hose would be under the passenger side( RiGHT FRONT SiDE) glove box, look down there, u will see a black hose from the center that houses ur A/C & heater housing! Lift up ur floor covering to see it clearly. check and clean the hose it might already been clogged by moss and dirt or dislocated thru the drain holes on the flooring!

No it's just is hard to pull out; be sure you place the new filter in with the arrows facing the engine intake this assures that you did not put it in upsidedown
