I've got a 2009 range rover sport brake pads have been replaced and sensors also but the brake pads worn warning will not go off please someone help me

I would suggest the following. Get a good lamp or torch. Put the vehicle safely up on axle stands or a vehicle lift. Take each wheel off, one at a time and trace the sensor wire from the pads. Check it is securely fitted in the pad and plug in point. Then trace the wires back past that point. The wiring further back can get worn over time.

I have an Audi a4 2003 2.4 petrol with a brake pad fault 04499, new brake pads fitted all round won't clear

start with a visual inspection of the plug on the car where the brake pad sensor is connected to unplug it and inspect the pins and terminals to make sure they are making contact when connected if thats okay then inspect wiring from plug and trace from the brake assembly to the body because of the location , movement and conditions it operates in it can easily get damaged

What would be the causes for brake lining study light to come on in a bmw x5 2005.

Study light? Do you mean warning light?
There are sensors clipped into the brake pads on the front left and rear right wheels. When the brake pads get very thin, those sensors rub on the brake rotors, and the light illuminates in the dash indicating that it is time to replace the brake pads.
The light can also illuminate if something damages the wire to the sensor. I usually replace my pads before they get down to the sensors, so I re-use my old sensors. Although the wires are fairly well secured to the suspension, after a few years, the wires can get chaffed from the wind blowing them around, and the damaged wire can turn on the warning light.

I have a 7/08 ml-320 cdi mercedes, series 164, i have just had the brakes done because the brake wear warning showed up on the dash, at the time i was not near any dealer ( traveling ) so had it done by a...

the brake pads have a hole in the rear pad driver side. the sensor plugs down into this hole. mechanic may not have put it back in. front pads have clip that comes off pad. shouldn't have been able to miss it or where it plugs in to . its pretty obvious. it should be on driver side pad also. if the sensors are plugged in it could be a faulty sensor, wiring, relay, etc. would have to take and hook up to computer

How do i reset the worn brake pad warning light on my volkswagen transporter, the pads have been replaced

it cannot be reset. there is a sensor on one of the brake pads which has a connector on it and the connector plugs into wires on the car. if the pads that are on it don't have the electrical sensors in them, cut off the end of the connector on the vehicle and connect the two wires. this will turn off the light. don't worry, no damage will be done by permanently connecting those two wires.

I have a warning light on my dash. It is a circle with 3 dotted lines to the left and to the right of the circle. could you tell me what this means?

Check your brake pads for wear. If worn replace. If not check the wires to the pads. If these wires are broken...the light will illuminate although the brake pads may be fine
Good luck with it

01 Bimmer 530i could someone guide me to replace Fr Brake Sensors

It should be in the front left inboard brake pad. You jack up the car, remove the front left wheel, and pull it out of the top of the brake pad backing plate. there is a metal spring clip around it that holds it in there snugly, but it should pull out. Then unthread the wire back up to the little box where the plug is. Be carefull pulling the plug apart. Don't pull it by the wires or you may pull the plug off the end of the wire on the car side, and you will end up soldering the new sensor (and all subsequent sensors) onto the wire,
Are you replacing the sensor without replacing the pads? Why?

Brake pad llight on audi 2001 a6

In the past I had the same problem with new pads!
You must check up if new brake pads electrical wires are OK. Try as follows:
1. Disconnect only new brake pads wires from the vehicle electrical circuit.
2. Extract old brake pads wires from old brake pads.
3. Insulation wear cap from old brake pads wires.
4. Connect old brake pads wires on the vehicle electrical circuit.
5. Switch ignition ON and start engine.
Now the wear light must go off !

Stalling and brakes wont work properly on 1999 chevy monte carlo

Stalling, could be fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, fuel injectors. Brakes, could be air in lines, defective calipers and pads. Remove one wheel and check the thickness of the pad and look for any leaks. I you intend to replace the pads you will need certain tools, antinseizing compound, and high temp break grease.
