Thermostat installation—4.6L Engine
Loosen the upper radiator hose clamp at the thermostat housing
Remove the upper radiator hose clamp from the thermostat housing
Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts and . . .
. . . remove the thermostat housing from the engine
Separate the thermostat from the housing

The service engine soon light indicates you have a problem with the engine management system.The only way to get it to stay off is to lacate and repair whatever is not working correctly. Requires very specialized equipment. Take it to your mechanic.

on my 1998 Deville its located in the trunk. the panel thats is butted up to the back of the rear seat. look for some black nuts around the top of rim of the trunk, they are about 1'' long, these have to be removed first... good luck.....

Get a new cylinder put old key with chip in it. Find orange wire from old lock cylinder at bottom of steering column just under dash. Disconnect and connect new wire from new lock cyl. Get a copy of the old key for the old lock cylinder {no chip needed} to start car. Hide or mount new lock cylinder hidden under dash. Remove chip key to activate theft system.
