Yea I used low side it is retrofitted to r134a wanna put that in there the pump will run great at idle and I've let some out before my firebird was low and I just added some and it's blowing 35.9 but when I put gas on the s10 ac the one I'm working on it goes from 30psi and drops down past 25psi and then low pressure switch kicks it off
The ac system should be between 30-40 psi. If your doing it yourself one small can should be enough. You can buy a kit that has the can with a hose the has a pressure gauge on it. That gauge will tell you if you have enough freon in your system. When you charge it make sure the ac is on full max before charging
i put for small cans in there i have vaccumed it out there is no air in lines or leaks it just kicks on and off and i know its not normal
I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but did you attach the xan to the low side port abs fill it
If not you probably overfilled the system go to the high side port it's is usually the port closest to the radiator and remove the cap. Get a small punch or small screw driver and place it into the port an press down on the lave it will relieve some of the pressure and should stop the compressor from cycling so
