My van goes through spells of not starting. It starts, runs for 15-30 seconds and dies. This seems to happen when the weather is hot. Let it sit for a while, and then it starts and runs fine. HELP?!?

thanks to all for suggestions. the fuel system had been checked, plugs were new, and wires. turned out the O2 sensor on exhaust
manifold needed replacing. car started and ran great after replacement.
check your temperature if it goes up quite fast you have a problem with your radiator or water pump, but if it is ok check your battery and alternator...
Check the vacuum hose attached to the fuel pressure regulator under the hood next to your intake pull it off and see if any fuel is present, if there is replace regulator.you may have to tap hose with your finger to get any fuel out or start vehicle run until hot then shut off and recheck if no fuel present in vacuum line let me know and we can try something else.
WELL UR BATTERY HAS DEAD CELLS Y ITS DYING AND WHEN UR BELOW 0 A BLOCK OR OIL HEATER I A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE.A DIPSTICK OIL HEATER CAN BE BOUGHT AT AUTO STORE .
Primary fuel pump requires replacement. Your secondary fuel pump is used only for starting and WOT situations. This is why your vehicle will start, run, and die.
