Hello, I have a 97 eldorado with a tailight problem. My rear left doesn't get bright when i turn on my turn signal or hit the brake. My fron signal works fine, and the right light get brighter with the brake along with the third brake light. i have replaced all three bulbs twice, checked and cleaned the connectors, removed the ground, sanded the chasis and reconnected the ground. the fuses are checked and are fine, I have now idea what else I can do to correct this problem. -Thanks in advance

Now remove the bulb & put your volt meter to the
center socket contact & ground your blk lead.

See if you get 12.6 volt back to the socket
If not, then you have a voltage drop before the socket

I hate to suggest a wiring diagram, as your doing good
so far,BUT you may need one, after you get dirty under the
car some more following the wiring

97 Oldsmobile bravada my right brake light won't

Sounds like a short in the socket or a bad ground.
The parking light is one circuit and the brake turn signal is another.

1998 cadillac eldorado rear brake lights and hazzard lights do not work

More likely that the turn signal switch assembly is bad.Have someone watch the tailights(or use a large mirror) to see if the bright tailight filaments come on with the brake pedal held down while you wiggle the hazard light switch.

No rear running lights. Turn and brake lights work. what do I do

The tail lights are also called parking lights.
There is a 10amp fuse for each rear parking lamp. The fuses are in the rear fuse box. Your owner's manual will tell you where that fuse box is located.
The fuses get power from a park lamp relay.

Hello, I have a 85' buick regal and I'm having

This is a tough one with out being able to see the wiring. i will enclose a wiring diagram for the complete lighting system.
You will need to locate the correct wirng and make sure its going to the correct light. Most times a bad ground wire will make the light do funny things like your car is doing. With the diagram i enclose locate the ground wire to the rear lights and make sure ground is good, even if you must cut old ground out and run a new ground to a good metal ground.

The three wires to the tow lights have been cut, and i cant find where in the harness they are cut can i bypass it all and just rerun new wires?

Yes. But do you have seperate yellow turn signal lights in the rear or do the turn signals work independant of the brake lights? If yes then you need to wire in a taillight converter. It takes your seperate left & right turn signals combines them with your brake lights on 2 wires instead of 3 leaving you with your normal 4 wires in total instead of 5. 1 Left turn & brake light. 1 Right turn & brake. 1 Taillight. 1 Ground. = 4 wires in total. If you dont have seperate rear turn signals just find left turn wire in taillight assembly, Right turn wire & Taillight & a good ground & you are done. On trailer plug yellow is left, green is right ,brown is tailight & white is ground.

89 Honda Accord brake light and turn signal seem connected

Looks as though you have earthing problems.
I would make sure that the earthing is O.K on flasher and brake.
You would then find your symptom disappear.

Hope that sorts it.

Left turn signal

Sounds like a wiring problem . Electric is feeding across from brake light ,probably a bare place in the wiring. Check behind the tailight.
