Sounds like the starter battery can't hold the charge from the alternator. A 1 hour highway drive should charge the battery enough - if it's the same the next morning it's up for replacement. Assuming there are no lights, radio or other devices on in the car during the night.

If the battery has been recently replaced - the alternator might not supply enough current anymore. In this case alternator brushes might need replacement or the voltage regulator has died. Usually the battery indicator lights up in this case. The battery indicator light can be checked by turning the ignition key one notch so all lights in the dash light up. If the battery indicator doesn't light the lightbulb might be dead.

Just a installed pioneer 1000 style headlights on a 2015 honda rancher 420 and they only work on high beam, but my stock headlights work on both low and high beam.

Check the lights actually work ok by independently connecting to a battery. hopefully they do work...

Considering the problems others have had when connecting led lights to computer driven circuitry not intended for such lights, it would seem fortunate you obtained even high beams.

I strongly suspect many such circuits monitor the current drawn by lights and will close them down if the actual current varies significantly from that expected. Led lamps consume a great deal less current than incandescent types.

Integration relay

check the lamp itself to be sure it isnt burned out... check the main fuse and relays under the hood... check for bad wires throughout the lighting system (time consuming and tedius)

Using high beams on 1997 Dodge B250 van causes lights to go out.

When you say all lights, do you mean the dash and tail lights also ?
The headlight switch has a circuit breaker for the headlights built into the switch. So there could be a heavy current draw on the high beam circuit, or the breaker in the switch could be getting weak.
But that should not affect the other lights, unless the headlight switch has too much resistance on all circuits it controls.

High beam headlights not working

Hello chinson. When the highbeams are not working, the problem is usually the switch. Since this is a 2008, your warranty will probably be in play. Contact your Toyota dealer before you do a self-repair. Joe

1998 toyota rav 4. Right side low beam headlight doesn't work. Hi beam on that side does. Checked fuses, they appear OK, and tried 2 other headlights. Left side hi and low working fine.

sounds like there is a broken wire. the only advise i can give you is to follow the hot wire for that light untill you find the break in the wire.

Headlights on reg beam dont work - what to do

when you switch your signal arm push forward for hi beam pull back low beam if you have regular beam and both beams are present then most likely it is your head light hand switch!! if fuse was blown you would have no head lights at all,so i would start with the swich good place to begin!
