It seem like most people dont understand this vent issue. I have the same problem with the air hardly coming out the vents even at high speeds. Yes my fan speed selector sw and a/c compressor does work! I was told by a bmw mechanic that it is either the A/C control head unit or the vent electronic control module (Blk with 3 connectors) located behind the main control unit. It regulates the opening and closing of your vent dampers. I will be replacing the control unit first because it sends the signal to the module. Hope my post point someone in the right direction.

I have replasteb the heater/ac blowermoter and restester checked the bender door working and the ac/heater is still not working Why isn't it working????

What exactly isn't working? the blower motor? If so then you may need a new blower motor harness from the switch to the blower, the connector burn up (under sized wiring) at the dash control head, you will also need a new blower speed control switch.

2004 Chrysler pacifica AC/HEATER continuously blows with power button in off position

sounds like a blower motor resistor or bad relay. Blower motor resistor is so you don't burn up the blower motor.

Ac come on only on max and works intermittently. Auto switch does not go off when pressed and ambient light blinks as the ac goes on and off.

It sounds like the AC/Heater blower motor speed controller is burned out, it is located near the blower motor.

Burning smell

Sounds like there is an electrical problem. Its probably in the ac / heat system. I would suspect the blower motor resistor or blower motor is going bad.

91 Astro Van, Heat/AC Blower not working....replaced switch, fuse, motor

well here's your fix next to the blower motor is the resister that controls the different fan speeds the resister burns out but before getting the new resister unplug the resister as the connectors over heat and at time also need replacement

2004 focus 80,000 miles/6 weeks ago, using ac with blower on high, blower gradually shut off and car produced bad smell. Drove home with ac off, blower off, had car checked and nothing found. Now it's...

The 'whirring' sound from the blower motor could be a dry bearing or damaged armature (part of blower motor that the brushes ride on), or just wore brushes. The smell could be the motor winding wires burning due to blower motor bogging down and overheating. You can replace blower motor with new or salvaged one.

My blower motor will not come on

run a 12 volt jumper to the blower motor connector and see if it runs, if it does remove the blower switch from the dash and check for a burned looking connector to the switch, if it is burned then replace the blower motor switch and connector, the connector and switch are avil from dealer.

Ac/heater blower fan does not work

Several possible causes (blown fuse, malfunction in blower speed switch, open ground in blower motor electical circuit, burned out blower motor (brushes), open circuit in blower resistor, etc. Best solution, Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.)

Fan blower motor

The Canyon has an inherint problem with the Fan Power cable being loose. When I say loose...I'm saying that you need to adjust the wires and then take a zip strip to tighten it up.

Passenger side under the dask are 2 cable hook ups. the one on the farthest right (Only 2 wires going to the plug) is the fan power cable. Jiggle it while the fan is on position number3 so you can hear when it comes on!!!

AC dask board signal

Replace the A/C compressor revolution sensor, bolted to the side of the compressor, unless the connector was inadvertantly left unconnected. This is the only reason the AC light will blink.
