Missing a fuel pump relay - 1993 Lexus Es 300

Check for damaged connections and loom, there is no 'reset'.

if the fuel pump runs when switch on then--- yes the relays may all look the same as they function is identical--however as different relays carry different amps , internally they are made to carry that heavier current

I don't know liter size of engine? The relay has two sides, the load side and the control side. The load side, looks like open switch, left side. Terminal 87 is hot all the time. The right side of relay is control side, needs voltage and ground. On the control side, dark green wire with white tracer is voltage, comes from pcm. The black wire is chassis ground.
Are you missing anything else? Engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs where applicable, and fuel injector pulse? With engine cranking, if your missing everything, I'd have to check rpm signal.

The fuel pump relay is in the power distribution center, under the hood. I guess your missing fuel pressure? Are you missing anything else, like spark at the plugs and injector pulse? Can you check for applicable trouble codes?

Sounds like a ground problem to me. Current won't flow without a ground.

the fuel pump fuse and relay should be in under hood fuse box. the reason why it will not start when hot or run the fuel pump. is the fuel pump relay, is getting hot and shuting off fuel pump. good-day !

Should be a fuse for the fuel pump (relay), check it.

Are you checking for power with a meter, or assuming since the pump does not run, no power?

Fuel Pump suse location #14 20Amp Relay box located on left side in engine compartment the location is marked on the fuse box, fuel pump relay is #1 on the same box if the relay has electrical power then go to the pump located inside the fuel tank.
