Your air suspension is leaking, could be a air bag or line or a fitting or a dump valve. Get a spray bottle full of soapy water and start spraying down the air ride components and watch for bubbles.
This is normal operation for this vehicle, the air in the air ride suspension system is designed to do this. After the vehicle sits, the air ride suspension will slowly release the pressure in the system until the vehicle is started again, and the air ride will level itself out again.
Not an expert here, but my buddy had the same problem till i looked underneath and saw the leaf spring end bracket rusted off, and holding onto the frame by a tiny screw. this is common on fords. pls check.
normally , they are on the engine on the right side, start from the firewall on the right side , you will see 2 hoses coming from the a/c system that is connected at the firewall, 1 of them is larger than the other, they both go to the air conditioner compressor, but don't get these 2 mixed up with heater hoses, because these 2 go to the engine, and water pump.
Any part of the air ride suspension system could have failed.
I would replace the air suspension, with a conversion, such as strutmaster or similar product, other wise you have to diagnose your current system and repair.
the solenoid sits at the top of the air spring and is connected to the air hose that inflates the air spring.
you untwist it to remove it from the air spring. it unscrews in 2 steps normally as a safety so it doesn't come off under high pressure..
