I have a customer with a 1995 ls400 whos speedomoter doesnt work untill the car warms up any idea

Try adding a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Stabilizer...add when motor is warm...tranny filter is most likely clogged and dirty...this additive works on most...

HOT/WARM START ISSUE

Its a hot start issue.

Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Also it can be weak battery or starter.

But possibilities are to be inspected to confirm what exactly it is.------

Most likely problem is the neutral safety switch coming apart. There may be additional problems. Get a scan of the computer and post the trouble codes.

Replace the speed sensor, and be sure to index the sensor after it is installed.

renew printed circuit board is the only answer(expensive )

replace the vehicle speed sensor, it's on the side of the tranny.

try a fluid and filter change and also a modulator valve and make sure you have vaccume going too it

Check your coolant level sounds like it might be low.
