Where is the coolant sensor located on a 2001 Lincoln ls 3.9 v8?

This sensor is referred to by Ford as a Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor and should be located on the inboard side of the lefthand head in the valley area under the intake manifold, to replace it should require removal of the intake manifold assembly.

My 2004 hse take water too much

The coolant can only go in one of two places - either onto the road or into the cabin via a leak, or through the engine. Look all round the back and under the motor to see if coolant is leaking anywhere - especially from the valley gasket, radiator hoses, heater hoses, heater core etc.
If no leak is evident, it has to be a head gasket or worse. Make sure the engine does not overheat or a slipped liner may result - thousands of dollars.to fix

93 Paseo compression 130/50/50/125

check the coolant flow, you know, how in detail it flows. I had a car,Buick I think, that cooling was entering the cylinders,so I checked in total detail how coolant flows and found out it WAS NOT the head gasket but a plastic piece the covered the valley (covered the top of the engine)and it was broken (from wear??)so when I replaced it (some seals),it solved the problem. I'm glad I didn't take the heads off ,machined them, replace head gaskets.....etc. Hope I helped.

If my intake manifold gaskets are leaking will it allow antifreeze to mix with the oil

intake gasket might cause it if the coolant froze and broke the seal between the head and intake and is leaking directly into the lifter valley

Where is a knock sensor for 2000 mercury villager located?

It is under the lower intake manifold in the valley of the engine. You must remove the cross over coolant tube to gain access to the knock sensor. It bolts into the cylinder head. Good luck

I am getting coolant in my engine. Is there a temp. fix

I'd be severely worried if you didn't have coolant in your engine!

I presume that you meant you are finding coolant in the oil or that there's lots of steam coming from the exhaust even after the engine has warmed up.

If so, then there is no temporary fix. Putting the job off will at best ruin the cylinder head and at worst completely wreck the engine, so basically the longer it's left, the higher the costs.

There is only one fix and it's a full head gasket replacement and top end overhaul. If you have been filling the cooling system with water only and there is no antifreeze/corrosion preventer in the coolant then the engine block may already be ruined, but I've rarely encountered that situation except when working on engines which have had years of abuse and poor servicing.

Water/coolant in oil.

It could be two different things. First it could be the start of a bad head gasket, its not blown yet but shes on her way out. Second it could be simply the air intake gaskets are weeping coolant into the lifter valley, then trickling down into the oil system. I'd check the obvious one first, the intake...hope that helped

Hydraulic lifers in 2004 GMC Sierra

You have a coolant leak into the lifter valley,I suspect the engine is equipped with aluminium cylinder heads, cracks can appear at the cyl.head bolt bosses causing a wash out condition to the lifters.Add a coolant dye,run engine for 15min,apply a pressure test to cooling system, remove left valve cover & rocker rail & check around centre 4 cylinder head bolts for signs of the dye.The only correction is replacing the cylinder head & while you are at it also have Tec check the right side as well.
