You'll have to remove the trim on the side of the car in order to access the seat belt tensioner. You can adjust it with a screw driver and retract it back..
Check on the side of the seat for a manual lever. For some reason the car companies still include a manual adjustment in addition to the electric one. If any direction works with the motor then the fuse is good.
I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty and the smae lever that tilts the seat also moves it forward and back. Press forward or back on the switch.
Also check for blown fuse or a loose wiring connector under the drivers seat.
