Cost to replace front wheel bearings

Depends on where you go. Go to the dealer 300-500 bucks. Its really not a hard job for a do it yourself type but you better know what you are doing and have the right tools. And its a messy job. Check youtube they have some videos that show you how to do it. If you are not mechanically inclined then prepare to pay some bucks. I am a do it yourself kind of guy.

Once the timing belt break, and replaced, still no starting,,,mechanical guy say its the computer, its the second one.

I think I got most of what you said.
If you can not troubleshoot the problem yourself, you'll have to have it towed to a different shop.
You would need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression now that the timing belt has been replaced.

2004 Jeep Liberty. Cannot sit and idle. Overheats, smokes, anti-freeze boils. Had thermostat replaced. I was told that I need a new fan module. What's the diff. between the fan and a fan module??? The...

Check on eBay, you can find them modules on there for a LOT less than at parts stores! Of course it may take about a week or so to get it!
Once you get it, you may can replace it yourself? Try looking up a video on youtube or of course once you have it you may can identify it yourself under the hood of the vehicle and replace it.
Most just plug right in, but I can't recall right off on that model. Trust me, google can be your friend. :)

Replace the driver side window motor

scroll through these questions for a while and find the questions from folks who have their door ripped apart and can not get it back together.
then go get yourself a new window regulator from ebay or a local parts store and pay a guy at an auto glass shop to put it in for you.

How much is it to replace a transmission on a 97 chevy cavalier

need to know engine and transmission type --- but unless you do it yourself it will cost more than the car value. look for a local guy working out of his garage or have a gearhead friend help you--------it really isn't that big of a job, but you will need tools, jackstands, etc and allow yourself 3 days at a comfortable pace so do a decent job and the necessary back and forth trips to the parts or tool store. approx 1200.00 usually covers it to have it done by shop with rebuilt or rebuilding yours.

My 98 eclipse is making a screeching noise in the engine

1.Most likely alternator belt is not tight enough or need new one.2. A/C-Power steering belt is loose or need new one. 3. Bearing in A/C-Power Steering Tensioner is going bad. 4. Not the water pump unless you are loosing water all the time. Timing belt runs the water pump & you need to tear down the engine. If so ,you would need to replace the timingbelt, tensioners, and maybe the hydraulic tensioner. NOT FOR $300, more like 5-600. Get yourself a Haynes Manual for 95-99 Eclipse at AUTOZONE,Advanced Auto, or Pep Boys and read up on this.

Timing belt

That depends on what you consider a laymen. This is somthing a two and a half to three year apprentice would due under the helpful eye of a class A Mechanic. But if you think your a very handy guy, have worked on cars for a while and have a knowledge of engine markings and engine parts with a Bentley, Chiltons,,or a Haynes manual that you could attempt this yourself or mayby a freind with some experiance could help you. If you do it yourself I would give yourself the better part of the weekend to complete hope this helps.
