6 months ago, replaced head gaskets. 1 week later, service engine soon light came on. Tech said it was an oxygen sensor. Cleared code. 3 weeks ago, got oil change, replaced headlights and replaced brake lines in same visit. When I picked up van, ABS light came on. Tech fixed--said it was something that hadn't been plugged in right? 2 weeks ago, check engine light came on while highway driving. Hasn't come on since. 1 week ago, abs light pops on regularly, sometimes will go off while driving, usually comes on when backing up. Sometimes doesn't come on at all. Today, have lost ALL tail lights, back up lights, turn signals. Top brake light over rear window works.

CHECK TURN SIGNAL FUSE.IT COULD BE BLOWED OR YOU HAVE FAULTY TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.BECAUSE BACK LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS SHARE SAME CIRCUIT WITH TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.

Testimonial: "It is the turn signal switch that is causing problems. I jiggled it and things worked for a bit, but then not. (after an hr chkking fuses, bulbs...)"

0152 coed

P0152 P0152 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 1Possible causes - Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 harness is open or shorted
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 circuit poor electrical connection
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
eplacing the Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 usually takes care of the problem
Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- High Fuel Consumption
- Excessive Smoke from Exhaust P0152 Description The front heated oxygen sensor (or O2 sensor 1) is placed into the exhaust manifold. It detects the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas compared to the outside air. The heated oxygen sensor 1 has a closed-end tube made of ceramic zirconia. The zirconia generates voltage from approximately 1V in richer conditions to 0V in leaner conditions. The heated oxygen sensor 1 signal is sent to the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM adjusts the injection pulse duration to achieve the ideal air-fuel ratio. The ideal air-fuel ratio occurs near the radical change from 1V to 0V.

1st code p0440, then code p0453 then p0452 now p0446

This problem is out side the gas tank , has nothing to do with the fuel pump or fuel level sending unit inside the gas tank .DTC P0446 EVAP Vent Solenoid Valve Control System . Do you know anything about automotive evaporative emission system ?
Wells EVAP Training with Sgt Tech P0440 P0441 P0442 etc

This DTC tests the evaporative emission (EVAP) system for a restricted or blocked EVAP vent path. The control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid Open and the EVAP canister vent solenoid Closed. This allows vacuum to be applied to the EVAP system. Once a calibrated vacuum level has been reached, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid Closed and the EVAP canister vent solenoid Open. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor for a decrease in vacuum. If the vacuum does not decrease to near 0 inches H2O in a calibrated time, this DTC sets.

I have Nissan Altima 2001 running 93500 K. since last a week service engine soon light on and showing P0141 & 0325 codes. What is the fix for P0141 and P0325 error codes.

p0325 = bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor p0141 = knock sensor
if it were me you could watch the sensor on a scanner to see if working properly but without a scanner i'd replace the oxygen sensor bank 1 = passenger side
sensor 2 is sensor behind the catalictic converter screwed in

good luck

just look for the blackened/burned pin on the rear light plastic connector and sand it down to re-establish a good electrical connection and save yourself $800 big ones on replacing the multiswitch.

Own a 2003 Aston Martin DB7. The check engine light came on about 5 months ago immediately after having the under neath side of the nose of the car repainted. I took it to the dealership and they...

Well it seems your a victim of circumstance. What I mean by this is. The the engine uses a network of sensors to function properly. The first shop cleared the error code and this fiex it for a while but they didnt replace the sensor as it seemed to work fine, This also happened with the second sop. You need to have them check that code again and replace that sensor. The sensor is clearly defective. and if they did, it means that the Brain (cars cpu) is defective.

2002 chevy malibu catalytic converter

You probably have way too much unburned fuel in your exhaust system (how's your mileage?) or possibly a failed oxygen sensor that is giving false information to the computer.
