Does the car smoke constantly when it runs? If it does, that's a sign of worn rings and will require the motor to be removed to fix. If it smokes upon acceleration after idling for a while or only when you first start the car, it's a sign of bad valve seals and those can be replaced while the motor is in the car. You will need an air compressor, valve spring compressor and adapter for your spark plug size that will allow you to fill the cylinders with compressed air 1 at a time to keep the valves from falling in while you work on them. Those are the 'special' tools. You will also need whatever conventional wrenches and screwdrivers that would be required to remove the valve covers.

Do you mean on the top of the plugs or on the elements?
I saw an Acura with oil on top....an o ring seal problem.
Oil on the elements probably means worn or broken rings. Have someone do a compression test on the cylinders.

SOURCE: oil in spark plugs

this fault could be either worn oil control rings or worn valve stem oil seals or the plug was faulty and not igniting

Why is my truck accelerating very slowly after idling at a stop sign?

You may have a vacuum leak, plugged catalytic converter, bad module in the distributor, timing issue, plugged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. Oil change wouldn't cause this problem.

OIL IN SPARK PLUG HO;E

If you have oil on the plug but not actually in the cylinder, the tube seal for the valve cover could be leaking.

Oil is coming out top of moter where oilsendingunitis

If you are referring to tubes as the tube where the spark plugs are installed then you probably have worn out gaskets at the base of the tubes. If you pull the spark plug wire out and remove a spark plug, you'll probably find the plug is soaked in oil. I suspect you'll have to remove the valve cover to replace these gaskets/seals.

Spark plug stuck in motor

The head? The steel hex is still on it? You'll just have to wrench it out. If the threads get stripped, it's just karma. You can helicoil new threads into place. If you are worried about it being too tight, or rusted, use a lot of penetrating oil before you start, and give it time to work- like a few minutes or longer. The ceramic top of the spark plug can be easily broken off. But new spark plugs are ready at hand, I presume.

Your misfire can be cause by couple of things but the cheapest way that you can try to fix your car is to do a tune up by replacing:
1)all spark plugs
2)do a oil change
3)spark plug wires
3)distributor cap and rotor

note misfire can be cause by:
1.bad gas
2.spark plug and/or wire
3.distributor cap and/or rotor
4.valve adjustment
5.injector
6.off timing
7.ECM
8.bad wiring(power, ground or feed line)

Would a quart extra of oil fowl the plugs or plug the injectors

I am not certain that an extra quart of oil would give you the problems that you are asking about, but overfilling your crankcase does increase the pressure inside the crankcase and may force oil where it shouldn't be going. In particular, your EGR system might start sucking up much more oil vapor or even liquid oil and mixing it back into the fuel stream going into your engine. I have had carbureted vehicles with tired engines (i.e., a lot of blow-by and oil vapor in the head) where the plugs have fouled because I have drawn too much oil vapor into the fuel system--in those systems, the EGR valve fed back into the air box, so the air being drawn in to mix with gasoline was laden with a lot of oil vapor. That fouled the spark plugs quite nicely, and I'd have to change or at least clean the plugs after a while to keep the engine running properly.

I am less persuaded that excess oil vapor can plug your fuel injectors. The injectors are designed to squirt a precise amount of gasoline into the air that's being drawn into the engine. The "oily air" would never be on the high pressure side of the fuel injectors. I suppose it's possible that oil could be deposited on the outside of the fuel injector in such quantities that the injector wouldn't spray in a proper pattern, reducing engine performance. However, the fix for that would be pretty simple: remove the fuel injector and carefully clean the outside of the injector with a serious gum-cutter like Berkebile 2+2 (which is much more potent than standard carb cleaner). That fix would be both faster and cheaper than disassembling the injectors to clean their internal parts.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
It is highly recommended that you replace worn out or defective spark plugs to maintain optimum performance of the vehicle. Having oil in the spark plugs will definitely decrease performance and the oil can be resolve by replacing valve seals.

Hope this helps and thank you for using Fixya! Have a good one!
