Have you tried resetting the light? On either the end of the dash on the drivers side or the end of the dash on the passenger side there is a panel that covers the fuse block. You'll need to have the door open to access it. Once you remove the cover you should see a button that says reset. Turn the key to the run position and press the button. The change oil message should flash, press the button again and the low tire message should flash, press and hold the button until the low tire light turns off. Sometime there will also be an audible series of beeps when it resets.

How do I reset my tire pressure light when tires are fine

My Lesabre has buttons on the left side of the dash. The one called Gage Info has a number of things like oil pressure check tire pressure heat Battery. Push this button till it says check tire pressure To reset your light push the reset button and hold for fifteen or twenty second and the light on the dash should go out and it will show tire pressure ok on the gage. Before you reset check all four tires for air as one tire could be down 8 or 10 lbs and the light will come back on. they all have to be the same pressure.
When you change your oil you should reset the oil section as well and hold reset the same as above. The oil section tells you how much oil you use over an amount of time.

The door sticker is unreadable. what is the correct tire pressure? We don't have the owner's manual.

the correct tire pressure is not necessarily vehicle specific. If you look on the sidewall of the tire there will be the pressure specification for that specific tire.

Low tire light came on - tire pressure ok

Because of changing outside temps this happens, just hold reset button on left side of dash until it reads tire pressure 100% again, just make sure your pressure is right before you do it. this is the same for oil changes and the like.
