The timming chane keeps jumping becasue the hydralic tensor wount tens how do i fix the hydralic tensor works with oil presure its on a ford explorer 97 4x4 timing chaine right side

might just be faulty oil pressure gauge or oil pressure gauge sender unit. I would start by having these both checked. hope this helps

Can you provide anymore details or was your car running bad or having any problems prior to the light coming on and also was it the check engine light or the oil light?

Are you using the right oil thickness ??
It could be the hydralic valve lifters that are "tirred" and if you have to thick oil the presure might be to low ..
And it could also be the answer of why it stops when speeding up the Rpm since the oil pump then makes a higher presure.

ok youll have to change water pump and replace all oil seals and water seals... also the pressure tensor

has a MAF sensor? It could be bad which will cause the car to act like you described.

not 2 big a deal. Autozone sells the new one and takes just a few min to fix. but do it when the engine is cool or u will get burned.

you need to check your fuel pressure could be not enough or to much or your plugs are fouled are you sure the timming did not jump how many miles are on it?

change the oil sending unit.

it has eiter jumped timing or lost compression.
