Go to ford owners.Com and register for free then download the owners manual then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams are there and the relays location also the power distribution box diagrams now you will know where the relay is and what it looks like
What's up ! your fuel pump fuse is in the central junction box , but you also have a fuel pump relay , a Inertia fuel cut out switch .The central junction box is located -
under dash panel, RH side fuse F1.34 20amp fuel pump
It is located on the circuit board inside the fuse box. To know more about the fuses of your car refer to the diagram at this link: https://www.autogenius.info/ford-expedition-2003-2006-fuse-box-diagram/
It is located in the relay and Maxi fuse box under the hood near the battery, both the fuel pump fuse and relay are in this box, the fuel pump fuse is a 20Amp and is marked #10, the fuel pump relay is is marked as relay #301.
There is also a fuel pump cutoff switch (triggered by an accident exceeding 3 G's)
The fuel pump shut-off switch is
located in the passenger's foot well,
by the kick panel.
There are a few things you can check. The first thing and most likely what the problem is would be the fuel cut off switch. Below is a picture of it the location of it. Where you see the blue arrow pointing down is where the button is that you push to reset it if it is "popped". If that is good the next thing you can check is the fuse for the fuel pump. That fuse is located in the power distribution box located in the engine compartment under the hood (picture of that location below as well) I also gave you a diagram of the layout of the fuses with numbers. The fuse for the fuel pump is the fuse located in the number 10 position and should be a 20 amp fuse. Last you may need to check the fuel pump relay. That relay is located in the same fuse panel and will be the one marked number 301. I hope this helps and good luck.
Hello, Here is a diagram of the wiring for your Expedition. The Inertia switch is in the passengers kick panel area and there is a button on it to push for a Reset. If this does not help, look in your Powerbox for a fuel pump Relay. The horn relay may be interchangeable.
the inertia (fuel cut off) switch is located under right side of dash (pic below..)
the fuel pump relay is on the left side of engine compartment, in the power distribution box
Hi!!
The fuel pump relay is integral to the Central Junction Box ( CJB ) and is not serviceable
Applies to, but not limited to the following models:
Expedition / Navigator -- 2003 - 2006
Excursion -- 2002 - 2005
F-Super Duty 250-550 -- 2002 - 2007
Good Day!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
It's located in the fuse panel in position R203.
Go to this Free Ford website to view or download the users manual for this vehicle and on page 252 there's a fuse block diagram that shows the location. https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp
