Why does my mazda mpv stall when ac is on but it runs fine when the ac is dissconnected

Make sure that your drive belt and ac belts are tight. A loose belt will look like many problems. Also could be your ac compressor. They have ac compressor lubrication in a can just like the freon. You can notice the extra strain the ac puts on the engine when you turn it on and especially at idle. So 1. Make sure belts are tight and in good condition, if not replace. 2. Check freon level in ac. If freon level is okay add ac oil conditioner.

check A/c compressor for seizure.
if not stuck that, then the engine lacks power
or the ISC is stuck.

THERE IS A DOOR UNDER THE DASH THAT MOVES FROM COOL OR AC AIR TO HEAT CHECK AND MAKE SURE ITS MOVING WHEN CHANGING SETTINGS

you need to try replacing the thermostat first to make sure the engine water gets up to 195 degrees.

My 2004 Mazda MPV AC does not seem to be working it blows air out but not as cold as it should be - any ideas - it seemed cold enough last week

My 2004 MPV was just diagnosed with a corroded aluminum line to the rear cabin air-con unit. It cost me $50 to get the unit leak-checked. Also got a $700 estimate to replace the line.

Should be 2 radiator fans that come on when AC is turned on,check coolant fan switch or relay, check fans themselves to see if come on and turning fast enough to cool radiator fins. Is it sitting still or when driving running hot? get back with me.

i have a mazda mpv es model 2000, replaced the water pump new over flow for the radiator, and supposily changed the thermostat. now it over heats and the over flow is very full . what could be the cause of this.Some times its fine and does not over heat
