NOPE STOP CHARGING DONT PUT NO MORE REFRIGERANT IN SYSTEM.DO GOING TO DAMAGE NEW COMPRESSOR AND THE EXCESS PRESSURE WILL BUILD UP CAUSE THE REFRIGERANT CANISTER TO BURST EXPLODE INJURY OR FATALLY HURT YOU. BEST TAKE CAR TO A GARAGE.LET GARAGE PUMP DOWN AC SYSTEM AND CHARGE UP.BECAUSE YOU WILL DAMAGE NEW COMPRESSOR. MOST OF TIME I WILL HOT WIRE THE AC COMPRESSOR. MAKE SURE COMPRESSOR HAS 2 OUNCES OIL IN IT.IF COMPRESSOR START UP NO OIL IT WILL LOCK UP.DONT KEEP PUTTING REFRIGERANT IN THE AC SYSTEM, THE R 134A GOING TO FREEZE UP TOO MUCH MOISTURE IN SYSTEM YOU HAVE TO HAVE A VACUUM PUMP TO PUMP DOWN AC SYSTEM CHECK FOR LEAKS BEFORE CHARGING SYSTEM UP.LOW SIDE NEED TO BE 31 - 36 PSI THE HIGH SIDE SHOULD BE 165 - 205 PSI.

Ac won't hold charge 1997 Mazda b4000

Look at the engine compartment.. look at all the A/C pipes and hoses.. usually when the 134 gas leaks oil comes with it..look for oily deposits.. If you can't see any. there is a new tool at Harbor Freigh tools that will help find your leak.. There is also a can of 134 with "leak detector" in it.. its an oil with red die.. you install it just like installing the gas and then look for the leak with a white towel .. you would be looking for the red color on your towel.. If you buy the tool about the same price as the die you can use it over and over as you have more problems in the future.. When you find the leak repair it .. May just be a bad o - ring or possibly a bad seal in the compressor.. hope for the no-ring its much cheaper..

1976 Cadillac ac not working

You can only add to a system that is under a vacuum,
unless you know what your doing
Need the proper manifold gauges, can't use those
store bought cans with the hose, you will let air in & ruin things
Have to check for leaks,if you know your low on
refrigerant, you have leaks to fix first.
The compressor clutch isn't coming one because
the system pressure is too low,you know that

How to put in freon

First buy one of the Auto Pro Refrigerant units with coolant and guage together at an Auto Parts store. you must locate the" input valve on the cooling line..should have a nipple on it,that screws off . There are 2 but product and guage only fits one. Unscrew can from guage and remove safety tab.....RE_screw can back on too gage making sure it is tight enough to puncture can. 4 clocklike hands on guage,,set the smallest arrow to approximate outside air temp. Push end of refrigerant hookup connector onto imput "nipple".. start car,,turn A/C on max cool............pull trigger on refrigerent unit,,,,shake and roll can slightly...when you release trigger, the gauge will indicate how much you have charged it...if completly empty,it will take about one half can, before compressor cluch begins to turn...squeeze release....squeeze,,release until pressure had indicate charged.

What refrigerant is in the 1997 toyota tacoma? 134 or R12?

It is going to be 134A (134). You also use 7.75 oz of PAG Oil for your ac compressor.

Good luck.

Air Conditioning won't blow cool air, what do I need to check or have done. Is there a fuse I can check? Thanks

see if compressor clutch is turning when ac is on. if so, you are probably low on r-134. if not, check to see if you have power at the compressor with ac on. if not, check fuses, relay, switches, wiring, pull your hair out, and take a couple of tylenol. if you have power, compressor may be bad or you may need to hook gages to it to see if it needs charged

Where is the low pressure port A/C port on a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII. Be more specific than the smaller port on the larger line as the smaller port on the larger line doesn't fit any of the refrigerant...

LOW PRESSURE PORT HAS A BLUE CAP ON IT.MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING REFRIGERANT R-134 BLUE CHARGE HOSE.R-12 CHARGING HOSE WILL NOT FIT R-134 SYSTEMS.SEE YOUR CAR HAS R-134 REFRIGERANT SYSTEM. THE EARLY 90S CARS HAVE R-12 REFRIGERANT SYSTEM.YOU NEED R-134 CHARGE HOSE SET.

How do i put A/c coolant into a cadillac deville 1999. I dont have the owners manual and it needs some A/c fluid.

There is no such thing as an ac coolant, maybe the ac refrigerant you are refering to. The ac is not getting cold? You can buy a can of 134 that has its own charging hose and gauge. Find the low side line of the ac. Start the car first turn on your ac then connect the hose and charge it. It is very simple, now the gauge will show you how much you have in there already, and don't overcharge it.

AC air is only cool, how do you recharge the compressor?

You can buy a can or,refil kit of R-134-A at walmart however only put the freon in on the low side (read the directions) if the freon gas will not go in; run an 18 gauge wire from the battery to the compressor clutch switch to run the compressor if the freon gas still won't go in it must be evacuated and, recharged by a shop. only put in enough freon to get the system cold any more than that and, you will lose cooling again (over charge)

Air conditioner blows hot air,

As long as the belt is turning the compressor than the only other thing would be that the refrigerant (R-134) is not full. You can buy re-charging kits at any local auto parts store, although they recommend that you have a licensed dealer remove the old refrigerant so it dosn't go into the atmosphere. Good luck.
