Hi i have a 2004 honda accord and an indicator light is on it is an exclamation sign in a triangle. what does it mean. i was not given a manual for my car.
It's for the 'vehicle stability assist' system.(aka electronic stability control) This lights up if you have turned the vsa system off. If it flashes, it means the system is on and operating to help control the stability of your car (making adjustments in engine and braking). If it comes on w/ VSA indicator light at the same time, it indicates you have a problem w/ the system. Sorry u didn't get the manual, it's amazing how many people throw them out! countrycurt0

Hi Majdi:
Did you mean "triangle"?
Some vehicles use a triangle as the indicator for the emergency flashers.
If you are referring to a switch, give it a try and see what happens.
You're not likely to hurt anything (unless it is the passenger seat ejector button on a spy vehicle).
Cheers
On your particular vehicle, this symbol means low traction. Your vehicle is automatically adjusting power output to compensate for low traction. If the road conditions are not significant enough for this low traction to be a reality, then your wheel spin sensor would likely be faulty.
The one to the left of the battery light is your check engine light which means a problem with your emissions system which should looked at by Honda. The one on the right is low engine oil indicator.
some markets have a button on the dash with tcs/abs and a dash light saying "tcs off".if your car has not got the button then you cant turn it off(germany yes.uk no)abs/tcs should only be turned off in deep snow, otherwise best left alone, unless you have been taught how to drive with/without.....(on ice you wants the wheels to turn,on snow you want the snow to wedge to slow you down......)see what i mean???
You are talking about the VSA activation indicator (triangle with exclamation point in the middle): This indicator has three functions:
It comes on as a reminder that you have turned off the vehicle stability assist (VSA) system.
It flashes when VSA is active.
It comes on along with the VSA system indicator (the rectangle with VSA in it) if there is a problem with the VSA system.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, and when the ignition switch is turned to the START (III) position.
the exclamation point inside a triangle is the VSA activation indicator or Vehicle Stability Assist system indicator. If the indicator stays on, have the VSA checked at the dealer.
