The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

If you call the dealer ship they can give you the code and the secuence for the radio

All NEW purchases come with the code in the box.

Due to existing laws we can not pass them along here.

Only the dealer will have this info. They can look it up using the VIN.

If you have ever taken it in for service at a dealer, the radio code will be on the invoice at the top of the page with the V.I.N etc

The code P1451 on a Land Rover is "Leakage Detection Module Motor power stage error Drive cycle A:Signal out of range - above maximum". This is an OBD-II diagnostic system code. As far as I know, a 1995 Land Rover Discovery does not use a OBD-II system. Is it possible that this rover is a later model year

THERE SHOULD BE A RADIO CODE CARD WITH THE VEHICLES PAPER WORK.IF NOT U HAVE TO CALL THE DEALER FOR THE CODE.

It is usually listed in the top section of repair invoices from a dealership.
If you still cannot get the code. there are many sites on the internet that can
supply the code for a fee.

Contact your local dealer with the VIN # of your Land Rover.  The dealer will be able to look up the proper code for your factory radio.
