The ABS light came on in my 1996 Lincoln Town Car. Turns out it was the main 50 amp fuse located in the fuse box under hood. Have you checked the fuse to see if it is blown? If it is blown, replace fuse and the light should go off. If it does not, have it checked at a Ford dealership for any problems.
