The po300 code is for a cylinder misfire, usually followed by a last number of 1 2 3 ect, showing which cylinder is misfiring, normally this can be fixed by installing a new set of plugs, the po171 code could be this
I would use the same plugs as were in there,, the fuel filter is a canister located either at the firewall or fender well,, its a black canister type,, from under the car you can see the fuel line coming up to the front of the vehicle,, Loosen the lower line first its gonna leak some so be ready for that ,, then the top one, as far as the MAP ,, its a good idea to replace it since the cleaning lasted one day
FYI the 2000 Corolla does not have a serviceable fuel filter. The only filter in the system is the pickup sock in the tank. Horrible oversight by Toyota.

Thank you canwoodjc. My reader only gave me the code with no cylinder indication. But since it is the original plugs at over 100,000 miles I will just replace it. Should I replace the plugs with factory ones from the dealership or do you have another suggestion? Also do you know of a good web site I can order parts from online to save money?
I did clean the MAF sensor before but I don't know why it only helped for a day or so? I guess I will just replace it this time.
Where is the fuel filter hidden on my car?
Thanks,
Jonathan
