Normally if a horn operates the horn is good. If it blows continually then it is the horn switch on the steering wheel.
Sorry, it is easier to replace the horn than the switch.
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search... Here is the listing from O'reilly (Champion) auto parts and as you can see they run from $25-50 for the horn and most shops will charge you another $50-$100 to replace it for you.
I don't understand why you just wanted the price since we are an advice service for you to do the work.
I still don't think that replacing the horn will solve your problem though and you will have to also replace either the horn relay or the horn button.
Your horn is located in the engine compartment, so why would you need to take the airbag out? Please reread what you have said. You stated the horn (in the engine compartment) and the price for a horn. The horn system has three components. The physical horn, the horn relay and the horn button. You asked about replacing the horn! Is that not what you meant to ask?
give horn direct power, its probably good, swap the relay, and horn still dont work, then you have to replace the clock spring in steering wheel, if horn isn't part of the clock spring(usually controlls button on steering wheel and horn), if horn isnt part of clock spring, then you still have to take off steering wheel and replace that switch. In other cars I replaced clock spring and fixed the horn.
