Hi, i have lexus RX400h 2008, and yesterday i changed the small battery, in the car. after that when i tried to open/close the windows from my seat, i faced a problem, so i cant open/close the windows anymore., i think there is a problem in the programming the windows occured after changing the battery. so please if you can advice what shall i do. thanks alot.

Water intrusion may be at fault run the car to warm the interior.

Disconnecting the battery will cause this. It happened on my Mazda 6 and there should be instructions in your manual.
It will be something like this:

1. Turn ignition switch to "on" position.
2. Open passenger window completely from passenger side window switch.
3. Close passenger window completely from passenger side window switch, and hold switch for an additional 2 seconds.
4. Turn ignition back to "lock" position.

Hi, you have done something that is not recommended. Avoid disconnecting the battery because it erases the system info that operates like our brain of the car. There may be shortcuts but I recon you going to a dealer and reloading the system info. If your battery is low it is a very good move to replace with a new one before it is too late. It is a common problem with Lexus RX H.

Does it still have a warranty on it? If so I would use that while you got it, and get it fixed free of charge. There is probably a cosmetic plastic cover hiding the alternator. However if you locate the belts than it will lead directly to the alternator.

Trying to get past the right way is a good way to get killed ( don't try to. )

you need a scan tool to do the job. either take it to the Lexus dealership or call up your local locksmiths, a lot of them can program remotes for less than the dealer.

Open the rear hatch and the spare TIRE AND TOOL COVER area. You should see a small DVD player nestled under a protective frame.
In the RX350 it is to the right of the tire,in the 5 o`clock position. The 400h should be similar but perhaps slightly different position, due to Hybrid equipment.
You will need the ignition power on to press the eject and load buttons. Save your old DVD for future use if returning to North America.

Hey Guys, The problem is that the 12V battery is low or dead. Having the battery replaced will fix this issue. (I have the same vehicle, had the same problem, and this was the fix)

If you didn't change your remote kit than its a best way to take to your dealer ,there is minor problem with sequence so they wil do free of cost with car document.
