Usually or in my experience the dash lights and the brake lights are on the same fuse, But usually the diagram for the fuse box is on the back of the Fuse panel cover, each fuse is labeled with a number according to the fuse position, and what it does is usually vaguely abbreviated, but is not to hard to figure out in most cases. All manufacturers abbreviate slightly different, if you post make and model of vehicle along with the problem we can usually get a diagram for you. Also if the diagram is not on back of cover or near the panel somewhere it almost always is in the owners manual, Which I can usually get a copy of if I know Make Model and Year.

Thumbs up if helpful!!

Dash lights not working . What fuse do I need to replace

You are going to have to give us more information. In any case, find your users guide and look for the location of the fusebox. It should be clearly marked which fuse handles the headlights. It might be a larger than normal fuse and in a different type container/style. What kind of car? Model? The fusebox might be under the dash on the driver's side of the car. Find where all the wires are routed to under the dash. Look for the largest components on the fusebox. Look for markings representing a headlight.

My dashboard lights and rear running lights arent working. The brake lights work and the check engine soon, change oil, etc lights are on but the lights for the speedometer and tachometer arent on.

The dash and running lights may be part of your headlight switch is bad. Check engine soon does not mea to change the oil. It means there is an issue with something having to do with the PCM and any of its related parts on the engine and/or transmission.
Need to have a code reader hooked up and see what code(s) are in the system.

The tail lights arent working

Check your fusebox for a blewn fuse.

If that does not fix it:Unscrew the bolts that are holding a taillight in place. Check the cover for damp/water. Remove with (compressed) air if neccesary. DO NOT whipe it with a cloth or the taillights will be scratched from the inside leading to dimmed lights. Remove rust and corrosion from electrical wires if needed. Spray them with WD-40 to prevent this from happening in the future.

Dash lights quit, gauges and idiot lights work. Help

It's most likely a burnt fuse. Check the fusebox in the cab first. If none of those match the dash, check the underhood fusebox next. A burnt fuse looks like a burnt light bulb. As long as the metal part in the middle is connected it should still be fine.

Where is the fuse to the tail lights and dash lights in my 1994 toyota pickup?

Tail light fuse is under the hood I believe is labeled tail. Also fyi, if your tail light lights happen to be out or the fuse is out the dash lights will not work. My understanding is that the dash lights going out is to let you know your tail lights are out. Hope this helps.

My brake lights arent working!

Normally you'll find a brake switch at arm of brake pedal, up under dash. Switch should have 12v going in one side, when pedal not pushed, and both sides when pedal is pushed.
