Is it a high pitched noise you are asking about..?? Probably a fan belt slipping.. Or is it burning oil That concerns you?? Or is it fuel getting into the oil that concerns you ?? 328I.. does it have the 6 cyl engine? one of the most dependable and long lived engines ever made..
It's probably the window regulator, common problem in BMW. It's not hard to replace, but if not mechanically inclined, better to take to a dealer or your independent BMW technician, the part is not terribly expensive (for a BMW)but labor might run into some $$ at the dealer.
If it has an electric pump you should hear or see water flowing when car is turned on. If not, check any fuses or relays for the pump, and there is probably temp sensor controlling the pump. The main thing is to make sure any fuses and relays are working before tearing the pump out.
