2005 chrysler pacifica will not go into gear, it starts up but will not go into reverse, no matter what I do????

No, it just has the Integrated Power Module in the engine bay.

If it is that bad see a local Chrysler dealer service dept.

Check the CV axles first. They can pop out and cause your noise and won't keep the vehicle from moving in park. Replace the axle/s if they did.

Check the engine mounts for being broken and the wiring around the engine for chaffing and the ground cables.

Here is the diagram with the firing order as well. Just click this link. All Chyrsler 3.8's are the same no matter the model they are installed in. The Pacifica was not listed.

Most likely you have a low charge of refrigerant in the a/c system.May be time for a service of the a/c system.

can you hear anything engageing when you put it in gear?

you could have a worn relucter ring

all pacificas are auto and have a slap stick this might be due to have the spring that attacthes to the transmission it could be that the shifter might have to be replaced or adjusted or your transmission might be shot.
