If our temp. Gauge is in the hot zone I would check for leak at intake gaskets or head gasket test.

I think you should start thinking it might not be the gage itself but >Problem with the wires in the circuit itself Also warm car up take a thermometer & check coolant tempature cross referance with temp gauge in the car

I have a 2002 grand prix gt my gas gage goes from full to emty sometimes it goes 3/4 sometimes 1/4 do u no what the problem is

sounds like you need new fuel pump. fuel pump located in gas tank. before you go buy a new fuel pump first push up and down on trunk of car real hard to try to dislodge the little armature inside of tank. this little armature is what sends the signal to the gauge telling you the quantity. push up and down on truck to try to dislodge small signal armature then check your quantity. try this when you are having the problem and i am willing to bet the little armature is stuck. the only way to fix is to buy a new pump.

I changed the fuel pump on my car and now the fuel gage stays stuck on full. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Try disconnecting the battery for a minute. If that doesn't straighten it out, you may have to take it apart again. The float might be hung up on something. It may shake itself straight next time you put gas in, too.
