If the starter has never been replaced, it is probable seized onto the transmission. Try spraying penetrating fluid, or WD40 on the area its seized on, and use a prybar to remove the starter.
I hope this helps

1994 Honda Prelude si starting problems

Your starter motor is either not getting power or in need of replacement. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with your car.

Also check your battery connections for no corrosion there as well as by the starter motor. Low voltage circuits in a car are extremely vulnerable to poor contact issues.

1986 Honda Prelude Problem where does the automatic transmission fluid go in a Honda Prelude 1986 automatic car?

There is a dipstick in the transmission down by the radiator. It is yellow in color. You add the fluid thru the dipstick hole. Check the fluid with the engine off.

I have a 1986 Honda Prelude with a A18A1. I'm having issues with it, the engine runs rough until engine speeds are above 2000 RPM's then it runs like a champ. Put new spark plugs in and fuel additive....

Is the cap and rotor in good shape? Doesn't sound like a vacuum leak. It's possible there is a problem with your distributor but not sure what. Is the timing belt in good shape?

I have a 1986 prelude that won't start.

DOES THE CAR SOUND LIKE IT WANTS TO TURN OVER AT ALL?

Why are you having to jump it? Bad battery...too weak....weak battery not supplying enough juice to the starter to turn the motor over....

Neen new motor for my 86 honda prelude

Best way is to call a salvage yard and ask how new a motor you can use. Just tell them your looking for one.
