2001 Buick Century - turned ignition and nothing - instrument panel dark. Turn key off & needles jump all the way up & back down. When I turn the key - intermittently - radio, wipers, windows, etc will work & then die. No headlights at all - no clicking or grinding when try to start. The instrument panel will light up for a second or two and then die or maybe flick off & on a couple of times. The battery is good, cables clean, no corrision on terminals. All fuses are good. Car worked fine before this happened.

My 2002 Buick century wont (crank) turn over ..jumped solenoid,it turns over but won't start ..checked all fuses and relays.. good happened after attempting to rewire front turn signal broken plug

Turn signal plug should have nothing to do with it not starting. Disconnect the battery for 10 to 15 minutes. Then try again with the key.
When you jumped the solenoid, it would start because the key may have not been in the run position. So the Security light was on, and did not energize the fuel pump.

Disconnect the battery as stated.

My 2001 buick century custom sedan 3.1 V-6 will not start at all....no spark...nothing at all......with the headlights on ...they stay bright when I turn the key to try to start but nothing at all..no...

Firstly it is advisable to energise the starter solenoid manually. If the engine cranks the fault is - immobiliser, ignition switch, relay, supply, wiring or connections.

If the engine doesn't crank the fault is likely the starter motor or solenoid.

When I turn my car off the air conditioner still runs-I needed a jump the other day because it ran all night and wore the battery down.

OK, if the relay for the A/C fan is bad, then the radiator's fan will keep running after turning off the ignition. Also, if the fan for ventilation of the A/C in the cabin stays on after the ignition is turned off, the relay for that is bad.

Good luck on this repair.
