I have 2001 PT Cruiser all Five doors unlock with the remote but not lock with the remote or the inside door switch

Remove door panel and check for power to door lock actuator - if power is available when remote is pressed then replace door actuator.

Bad power lock in door.

Have you tried replacing the battery in the remote?

As stated above, it is most likely your RKE (remote keyless entry module). It is easy to find and relatively easy to replace yourself. I just recently did so on my 2002 PT Cruiser. Got a used module from a 2005 at a salvage yard. Put in the module myself. However, you do have to take it to the dealer to reprogram so your remotes work with the module replacement. The door lock switch on door panel has water in it.

battery of car is zapped of energy...not sure if alarm system to blame, after driving it for a few minutes..clock and radio display lights turn off, horn can barely be heard...sometimes, motor shuts down completely. have had to put in 2 new batteries in just a matter of 2 months?...any idea what this may be?

The fuse is No.3 "DR locks" (near steering wheel)
If you take the fuse out the doors will not open itselves.

The root cause of the problem will be a microswitch inside the drivers door?

======FOG LIGHTS ============

1.At first take out the foglight's fuse before you battery is dead. (Fog lights stays "ON" even you leave the car).

2.You must replace the Multifunction control switch =(

Fog lights are connected to pin 13,14.
Fog light switch is "B". Because the current is many Amps, contact surfaces are heating up.
After that the contact opening "C" is melting (made of plastic) so the fog light stays "ON".

how did you check the relays, to find the problem with the door locks you need to remove the door panel and test for power at the door lock actuator or you can just buy the master switch and put it in and see if it works.

make sure than the car has not any aftermarket alarm installed if it does have it remove it
