My 1993 volvo 940 has fire where should be, and gas flow where should, but still want crank can you give me solution this my problem

Ok. if you have made sure you have ignition spark at the spark plugs by turning over the engine with a spark plug wire off and held next to the block and you have also made sure your Fuel injection is pulsing and putting fuel into the engine, start from scratch.Pull out all your spark plugs, clean them off check the gap and let the cylinders dry out.The put them back, turn the key to on and make sure again that y our fuel injection is priming the system. Then spin the engine over.if you are still not getting the car to start, then you may need to check and make sure your camshaft is not broken by spinning the engine over and making sure you have spark at each plug.Try that and repost.Good luck.

Replacing a starter on a 1993 volvo 940 turbo. Is this a difficult task?

It looks easy for the 940 but I am not sure about the 940 turbo, as maybe some of the turbo parts are in the way. I'm not sure about that, since there is no documentation on the turbo model vs. the 940 standard model. If you can follow the following instructions, then I would give it a whirl.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 1993 Volvo 940
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.
  2. Disconnect the leads from the starter motor.
  3. Remove the starter motor retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the starter motor from the vehicle. To install:
  5. Position the starter motor to the flywheel housing.
  6. Apply locking compound to the bolt threads and install the retaining bolts finger-tight.
  7. Tighten the bolts to approximately 25 ft. lbs. (34 Nm).
  8. Connect the starter motor leads and the negative battery cable. Fig. 1: Unfasten the nut retaining the starter cables . . . 90952p12.jpg

I dont know how to pull the codes on a 1993 volvo

Volvo Code Retrieval Accessing Trouble Codes 89-93 models (and later non-turbo/non-OBDII models)

Fuel Codes Locate the diagnostic unit behind left strut tower and remove its cover.(see image) Connect selector cable to socket #2,which tests the fuel codes. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position(engine not running). Enter the diagnostic mode by pressing the push button on the diagnostic unit for at least 1 second, but not more than 3 seconds. The red LED light will start to flash, count the number of flashes in 3 flash intervals. The flashes will be seperated by 3 second intervals.Make note of all codes. If no codes are stored, the LED will flash 1-1-1,which means the fuel system is operating correctly.

Ignition Codes To access the ignition codes, follow the above procedure, but with the selector cable connected to the #6 socket on the diagnostic unit.
NOTE:Turbocharged models may have seperate codes for the turbo system and are accessse by hooking the selector cable to the #5 socket.

Code 1-1-3 volvo 940 turbo

The code seems to point to the camshft actuator circuit. Namely the Oil Control Valve. Probably needs replacement. I do not know the location on your vehicle. I suggest you ask a mechanic or try to find it online.

My volvo 940 1993 keeps flashing the emission light when I restart warm car after a short trip - slow to start, need to give it some gas & rev

Sounds like you need an O2 sensor. You need to have it scanned, places like AutoZone will do this free of charge.

Have you checked compression on non firing cylinders? Likely has blown head gasket between these two cylinders if located side by side.
