My power windows in the 99 KIA Sportage do not want to go up or down. I have checked the fuses to see if it is a bad fuse. Can't really see the location on the diagram on the fuse flap. Anyone with help can be great.

Good morning, the 1 and 2 fuses get hot and it won't start, did I change them and started. Well for a while now they warmed up again, I changed them, and did not start. motor is a 1999 kia sportage 2.0
No, should not affect the power windows. Something else made them stop working. If no windows work at all, could be a fuse for them is bad. If fuse is good (some vehicles use a circuit breaker rather than a fuse), then you need to start testing at the master power window switch, which is the window switch on the driver's door.
Try the relay under the steering wheel, behind the panel that is held by two bults hidden under removable covers. Also two screws at bottom of panel. power goes to the fuse before the relay.
