I have the same problem. I've read on several places that its possibly a bad clock spring in the steering column. Do you notice it go off more when you are turning?

1.if your still driving with an air bag warning light up then you really are crazy.

My kia caren done 60,000 kms and suddenly yesterday the air bag indicator was on & its still on when i am driving - please help

You need to have a competent shop look at your SRS system (air bags) one of the sensors are either corroded, loose or shorted and needs to be inspected by a shop. They can also reset your light after they discover what triggered fault. (Sometimes it's as easy as a loose contact)

Might be a loose wire inside the steering wheel at the airbag. Be careful around it, it might decide to clobber you. Good luck.

Air bag indicator want turn off

Loose connection or faulty airbag computer. Airbag was deploid previously and not replaced, or was replaced and did not reset the computer.Take vehicle to a Toyota dealership for a diagnostic check to pinpiont the fault.Locally (S.A) they usually would not charge any fee for this check.

Air bag light on dash board citroen picasso

Check the plugs and sockets under the seats, they tell the airbag system if there are occupants and if the readings are wrong to the airbag ecu it disables itself and lights the warning lamp, clean the plugs and sockets or sometimes I have soldered the wires to get decent contact (one at a time)

When the light is on all the time there is a problem in the air bag system. This is something you will want to take to a service center soon, as long as the light is on the air bags will not deploy in an accident.
