Likely, given the manufacturer and it being a U.S. model (I assume), it is going to have A/C. Very nice cars. Email me at [email protected] and I can send you an electronic owner's handbook right back. Study it and try to work the controls. If something fails to work, let me know and we can go from there.

Heat temp gauge on motor if faulty can it effect the cooling temp of the air conditioning on a saab 93 convertible 2002 model

No. The engine temp sensor affects engine idle speed, and timing. There is an in car temp sensor that controls the position of the blend door and the fan speed if the system has automatic temperature control. It also cycles the AC compressor clutch and the radiator cooling fans.

My girlfriend has a 2005 Saab 93, it's gving her problems , when we put the key fob in the ignition it says "key not accepted" .."contact Saab dealer" the key won't turn at all, can't even lock the car, or...

sounds like the fob quit working.....need a new fob. Some ace hardware stores can make a new saab fob key cheaper then the dealer though, call the dealer first to get a price and their feedback if it is a keyfob issue

Hello Robert,
There are a variety of issues that could be causing this such as condition of charging system, condition of battery, cables and starter and even the anti-theft system.

I would recommend contacting a local authorized mechanic who works on Saabs or at least foreign automobiles.

Best regards,

99 SAAB 9-5 PROBLEM WITH AC....AC IS WORKING.. CONDENSING WITH NO PROBLEMS ...WATER RUNNING OUT UNDER CAR..PRESSURES ARE 225 HI 35 LOW... NOT GETTING COLD AIR INSIDE...LUKE WARM ON DRIVERS, AND COOLER...

OK, most cars have heater cores that get hot but the blender door directs air away from this core in the a/c mode when you want cool air from the evaporator.

I'm not sure if there is a control valve which stops the water from going through the heater valve.

I think the part is called a 'heater blend door actuator' that you are after.
