Best place to look to buy owners manual is ebay. you may find info for your car at www.autozone.com, sign in and look up your car.

Take your car to the local Advance Auto Store or any parts store that gives free Check Engine service. Have them reset the unit and see how it goes from there. The service is usually free. Gary @ Fix Ya
It may or may not have the information you are looking for, but there is a Chiltons repair manual for all Mitsubishi and Toyota models from 2001 to 2005. It is available new for about $90 or it is generally available on Amazon used for under $20.
I have a Lancer GT 2008, suddenly the AFS light on the dash board came on and a message "service required" appeared. took it to the to garages to check the problem on their diagnostic equipment and also took it to the dealer. all tried to reset the cars system, but immediately after resetting the system, the AFS light comes on again with the same message. Has anyone encounter a similar problem. Thanks
You can reset it manually. Make sure the car is off, then click the ignition over to ON (do not turn over the engine). Press the INFO button until you see the service reminder (should be a wrench with 3 dashes by it). Once you see this, press and HOLD the INFO button for 3-5 seconds. The reminder should add 6 months and 5000 miles.
