The problem may just be with the evaporator unit found at the passenger cabin. At times you may just need some cleaning to get it working.

2004 Dodge Grand Caravan SE front vents suddenly not working, what could have caused this? All fuses are fine, and the defroster vents still work, they will even blow out cold air, but not the main vents!...

plurbaby236, The venting system for the front of your vehicle is controlled by a vaccum line coming from the engine the rear is electric. You may have a broken vacuum line in the engine compartment. When this happens the defrosters are a default setting. Check for a small vacuum line going through the firewall, usually near the middle and follow it. You may find that it is broken. A quick repair is to take a small piece of rubber hose that fits snuggly on the plastic vacuum hose. Good luck with this.

Rear climate control fans blowing cold

That sounds to me like your vent "tubing" is disconnected somewhere along the line. I am not sure exactly how it is set up in the vehicle you are driving, but I am certain fixing it will involve taking apart most all of your interior then putting it back together after a 10 minute fix.

1997 dodge grand caravan a/c

What are the readings on your A/C service gauges, hi and low sides? If you don't have service gauges, inexpensive ones can be purchased at stores like: Harbor Freight, Walmart, Pep Boys, etc. The gauge readings are the first step to a correct diagnosis.

Your system may be low on refrigerant. If you also have a rear heating unit, the air mixing door or water valve may not be shutting off. Your expansion valve may be bad in the rear unit.

If you can access your rear a/c, check to see if the inlet hose is hot or cold. If it is cold, you are low on refrigerant. If it is hot and the tube coming out of the expansion valve/orifice is cold, this is the way it is supposed to be. If the tube on the outlet of the evaporator is not cold, then you are low on refrigerant or the expansion valve/orifice may be bad.
